Freeman Health System in the United States seeks an Endoscopy Tech to assist in the intraoperative phase under the supervision of the registered nurse, supporting gastroenterology procedures and patient care in the endoscopy suite.

This full-time role offers days, 36 hours per week, eight-hour shifts, Monday–Friday with on-call requirements; AHA BLS within 60 days and prior hospital experience as a scrub tech or nursing assistant are preferred.

Gastroenterologists perform outpatient colonoscopies, liver biopsies, and endoscopic examinations of the esophagus, stomach, small and large bowel. Gastroenterologists frequently work with surgeons before and after an operation to help select the best operation for a particular patient and provide follow-up care relevant to the particular digestive disorder.
