Freeman Health System is seeking an Endoscopy scrub tech to join our operating suite in Joplin, Missouri. Under the supervision of a registered nurse, you will assist in the intraoperative phase of patient care during GI procedures such as colonoscopies and biopsies.
Clinical practice as a scrub tech or nursing assistant is preferred but not required; BLS certification within 60 days is required. Skills Lab training for Endoscopy RN-Tech will be completed by the transcript due date.

Gastroenterologists perform outpatient colonoscopies, liver biopsies, and endoscopic examinations of the esophagus, stomach, small and large bowel. Gastroenterologists frequently work with surgeons before and after an operation to help select the best operation for a particular patient and provide follow-up care relevant to the particular digestive disorder
Under the supervision of the registered professional nurse, participates in the intraoperative phase of patient care.
Clinical practice as a scrub tech or nursing assistant in a hospital setting preferred but not required. AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 60 days. Skills Lab - Endoscopy RN - Tech annually by transcript due date.
