Trinity Park Surgery Center in Arlington, Texas is looking for an Endoscopy Technician PRN to support GI/endoscopy procedures under the GI/Endoscopy nurse. You will contribute to patient care in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

Ideal candidates are graduates of an accredited Surgical Technology program with acute care experience and a valid BCLS certification. This PRN role offers flexible hours to join a committed team at HCA Healthcare's national network.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program preferred.
• One-year acute care experience, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center.
• Valid BCLS Certification upon employment; online certification not acceptable.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain a sanitary environment for your patient.
• Demonstrate knowledge of high disinfection and sterilization of endoscopy equipment.
• Prepare the endoscopy unit adequately and ensure availability of necessary GI equipment and supplies.
• Clean GI treatment rooms between procedures and prepare rooms for the next case.
• Assist in the maintenance, care and labeling of specimens.
• Identify specimens with the surgeon and pass to the circulating RN.
