Job summary

SAIC is seeking an End User Computing Manager to lead and coordinate the implementation and optimization of advanced network solutions for a mission-critical enterprise IT environment. This role supports the MAJESTIC Joint Program Office (JPO) Team and requires extensive experience in IT infrastructure, security compliance, and project leadership.

All work is on-site in Springfield, VA, with responsibilities spanning VPN maintenance, network planning, and documentation.

Qualifications

• 9-15 years of professional experience managing and supporting enterprise-level IT environments.
• Experience with network hardware and software interconnection and interoperation including routers, firewalls, and related devices.
• Knowledge of RMF, NIST 800-53, and DoD 8510.01 with Kubernetes/containerized environments.
• Experience with Active Directory, Azure AD, LDAP, and PKI-based systems.
• Ability to implement HA architectures, clustering, and disaster recovery strategies.

Responsibilities

• Maintains operation of local, wide-area, and VPN networks.
• Plans and coordinates installation/reconfiguration of hardware and software for data/voice networks.
• Provide network documentation and regular monitoring for capacity planning.
• Support enterprise IT infrastructure projects from planning through deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet security/compliance requirements.
• Ensure alignment of deliverables with business objectives within scope and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintains smooth operation of local area,worldwideand virtual private networks (VPN).


• Plans, evaluates, and coordinates installation and/or reconfiguration of hardware and software elements of data and/or voice communication network.


• Maintains technicalexpertisein all areas of networks and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc.


• May propose solutions to management to ensure all communications requirements based on future needs and current usage, configuring such solutions tooptimizecost savings.


• Prepares or ensures thatappropriate networkdocumentation exists, including operational instructions.


• Provides regular monitoring and network analysisregardingshort- and long-range planning for in-house systems.

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent

Certifications (CWF Requirements):

• Candidates must satisfy Cybersecurity Workforce Framework (CWF)ID 443(Network Analyst– Intermediate Level)requirements, as outlined byNavy COOL.
  This requirement can be met bypossessingone or more of the following qualifying certifications:


• CompTIA Cloud+


• CompTIA Security+


• GIAC Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP)


• GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC)


• Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)

ORThis requirement can be met through:

• ABachelor’s Degreein Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

Experience:

• 9-15yearsof professional experience managing and supporting enterprise-levelITenvironments.

Technical Skills:

• Familiarity with network-related principles, including DNS, load balancing, service discovery, and secure system interconnectivity.


• Experience with monitoring tools for performance, diagnostics, and metrics collection (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, SolarWinds).


• Expertisein enterprise platform services, including infrastructure architecture, virtualized environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper‑V), and Windows Server management.


• Experience implementing and supporting high availability (HA) architectures, clustering, and disaster recovery strategies for both traditional and containerized systems.


• Knowledge of security/compliance standards such as RMF, NIST 800‑53, and DoD 8510.01, with experience ensuring compliance in Kubernetes/containerized environments.


• Hands‑on experience with Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, LDAP, and PKI‑based systems.

Preferred Certifications (In Addition to CWF Requirements):

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent.


• Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals.


• Vendor‑specific certifications for identity tools such as ForgeRock, Okta, Ping Identity, or SailPoint.


• Experience establishing ICAM within a Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) framework.

Clearance Requirement:

• ActiveTS/SCIclearance with the ability to obtain andmaintainaTS/SCI with Poly.

• Program Scope:Supports on-premises enterprise IT environments, including virtualized Windows servers, MS SQL Server databases, and networking layers.


• Subcontractor Role:Responsibilities and compensation vary based on the subcontract agreement, with a competitive salary aligned to market rates and role-specific requirements.

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
