Job summary

Harken Sweets is seeking a Social Media Manager to own the organic presence across platforms, planning, creating, and publishing content that sounds like a friend talking about the brand. You’ll work closely with the Founder/CEO and Creative Director to keep content fun, warm, and culturally relevant.

The role is part-time, focused on building word-of-mouth and community engagement from a small, fast-moving team.

Qualifications

• 2-4+ years managing organic social media for a consumer brand (food/beverage or CPG a plus).
• Strong eye for content; shoot and edit short-form video native to platforms.
• Excellent writing skills with sense of humor; comfortable being funny and irreverent while keeping the brand.
• Deep fluency in social culture and platform trends.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day and weekly content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, and priority platforms.
• Plan, shoot, and edit organic content reflecting Harken's voice.
• Stay on top of trends and formats; adapt quickly for Harken.
• Be secondary face of brand to social community and film/engage founder on content.
• Track performance and share reporting with clear takeaways; refine strategy.
