Responsibilities

The E2E RCM Product Manager serves as the product manager for a solution that drives workflow across operations, unifies our RCM ecosystem and provides enhanced analytics. The PM will be a member of the team responsible for enhancing the performance of our RCM Products. The successful PM has:

  • Translates required capabilities into product requirements specifications and/or operational processes.
  • Understanding core technology concepts, tools, and platforms relevant to the projects they manage.
  • Works with cross functional teams including product management, development, design, operations and the business to drive successful outcomes
  • Prepares product documents and supports operations team with the necessary product knowledge and technical expertise
  • Understands product performance metrics and articulates and prepares forecasts and risk assessments based on planned future activity.
  • In depth knowledge of RCM technology and industry trends
  • Analyzes data from KPIs - recommends product features, functions, and actions based on data and documented customer needs
  • Uses market and customer feedback to evaluate product functionality, establish deployment strategies, and recommend present/future product direction.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Gathers and analyzes key metric data to support key decision making between product leadership and Enterprise stakeholders. Recommends actions to achieve organizational value performance objectives
  • Influences the product backlog and crafting user stories and sign off on feature acceptance, all the while adhering to the agile process constituted for the managing the project. This Product Manager shall work closely with other product leaders and development teams for the requirements analysis & solutions design
  • Maintains an iterative deployment roadmap to delivering value and thought leadership to maximize product effectiveness. Connects business objective and product delivery to the KPIs of the organization and the value created
  • Works with matrix partners to translate required capabilities into concrete operational processes and measurement plans. Translates required capabilities into requirements for engineering teams
  • Validates requirements via pilots; Pro-actively identifies needs/priorities of audience and provides relevant information when sharing insights, including facts and explanation of decision-making criteria
  • Manages product/project deployment plans and impact to KPIs. Identifies potential issues with product builds and integrations, pro-actively develops mitigation plans; Assists in removing obstacles, resolves conflicts and ensures alignment with stakeholders. Ensure that deliverables meet the required quality standards.
  • Defines and tracks key performance indications (KPIs) to measure the success of product, iterating based on data-driven insights
  • Conducts market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and opportunities for product differentiation

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in supporting the release and launching of new software
  • 2+ years of experience in development and communicating project plans and/or roadmaps of activities to achieve the Product Strategy
  • 2+ years of experience prioritizing work efforts across matrixed teams
  • 2+ years of experience working with multiple teams / stakeholders to gather and document detailed business and technical requirements
  • 2+ years of direct experience conducting process analysis, requirements definition, and use-case analysis and data analytics
  • 1+ years of experience with designing/deploying AI models
  • 1+ years of experience drafting customer communications and creating customer presentations.
  • Advanced experience in healthcare revenue cycle management - 4+ years of experience with healthcare revenue cycle management operations
  • Willing or ability to travel up to 10%

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in an Agile Software Development environment and possesses knowledge of the Product Development Lifecycle
  • Experience performing competitive analysis and market research to stay on top of industry trends
  • Proven solid organization, documentation, change management and project management skills
  • Proven ability to work well within teams and the ability to influence peers, stakeholders and management
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintain a positive attitude
  • Proven desire to challenge the status quo, and solid focus on the voice of the customer

The salary range for this role is $89,800 to $176,700 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
