Job summary

MEI Industrial Solutions is seeking a Project Logistics Lead in Abilene, TX. You will own end-to-end logistics for a portfolio of MEI projects, coordinating with project managers, site teams, and carriers to ensure on-time, on-budget deliveries.

You will sequence shipments, manage the approved carrier network, and provide cost/status visibility to leadership. The role requires 3+ years in logistics/project logistics, strong communication, and proficiency with TMS/CRM tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; related degree preferred.
• 3+ years in logistics or project/site logistics with end-to-end ownership.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.
• Strong carrier sourcing and routing judgment; knowledge of over-the-road modes.
• Proficiency with Windows, MS Office and TMS/CRM software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of MEI projects end-to-end for project managers and stakeholders.
• Translate project schedules into delivery plans and sequencing shipments.
• Source, book, and dispatch carriers from MEI's approved network.
• Manage freight cost and on-time performance across the portfolio.
• Identify and resolve transportation issues; escalate only when needed.
• Coordinate with warehouse teams on inbound/outbound shipments and requirements.
• Provide project-level cost, status, and performance reporting.
