Job summary

The Pokémon Company International is seeking a Production Planner to manage apparel and collectible merchandise from concept through production and post-launch support, coordinating with domestic and overseas vendors.

You will lead complex initiatives, drive cost and quality, and partner with Merchandising, Design, and Logistics to bring new products to market, while seeking continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product development, sourcing, or manufacturing.
• Experience managing products through full lifecycle.
• Strong vendor management and overseas sourcing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end product lifecycle for apparel and accessories.
• Lead multiple complex product initiatives across portfolio.
• Collaborate with Merchandising, Design, Demand Planning, Approvals, ProductSafety & Compliance, Logistics, Trade Compliance, and external partners to market.
• Evaluate concepts with vendors on feasibility, materials, costing and execution strategies.
• Drive development and sampling with multiple review cycles and ensure quality and cost targets.
• Provide production ownership through development and manufacturing, identifying risks and solving issues.
• Influence decisions with industry knowledge and cross-functional partners.
• Identify continuous process improvements to increase efficiency and scalability.
• Qualify and onboard new vendor partners through costing analysis and feasibility studies.
