Job summary

rhe is seeking an experienced Ocean Import Coordinator to manage end-to-end import shipments from pre-alert to final delivery, including FCL and LCL. You will monitor vessel schedules, ISF requirements, and ensure accurate documentation such as HBLs/MBLs and arrival notices.

You will coordinate with customers, carriers, brokers, trucks, warehouses, and overseas agents to ensure timely customs clearance, cargo release, and delivery while tracking costs and maintaining precise records in the

Qualifications

• 2+ years of ocean import experience
• Strong knowledge of import documentation and ISF requirements
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Experience with freight forwarding/TMS platforms (CargoWise a plus)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate ocean import shipments from pre-alert through final delivery for FCL and LCL.
• Monitor vessel schedules, arrival dates, milestones, free time, and cargo availability.
• Review and process import documents including HBLs/MBLs, commercial invoices, packing lists, and arrival notices.
• Coordinate with customers, carriers, NVOCCs, brokers, truckers, warehouses, overseas agents, and origin offices to ensure timely clearance, release, and delivery.
