• 2-3 years of experience in import logistics or distribution operations.
• Strong understanding of customs clearance procedures, Incoterms, and freight forwarding.
• Proficiency with ERP software (SAP, Oracle, Cargo Wise) is preferred.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Experience working with Ports.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with international suppliers and freight forwarders to arrange sea, air, or land shipments.
• Prepare and review import documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, etc.).
• Monitor shipment schedules and proactively manage any delays or discrepancies.
• Liaise with customs brokers to ensure smooth and timely clearance of imported goods.
• Oversee inbound deliveries to warehouses and ensure accurate stock intake.
• Manage outbound logistics and delivery schedules to distributors, wholesalers, or customers.
• Work closely with warehouse teams to maintain accurate inventory records and stock rotation.
• Plan and optimize distribution routes for cost-effective delivery.
• Communicate with suppliers, freight partners, and internal departments (procurement, finance, and sales) to ensure alignment across the supply chain.
• Provide shipment tracking updates and resolve logistics issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, customs laws, and relevant trade requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date logistics and customs records for auditing and reporting.
• Track logistics KPIs such as lead times, freight costs, and delivery performance.
• Identify areas for process improvement to increase efficiency and reduce expenses.
