Job summary

Nestlé S.A. in St. Louis, MO, is seeking a Senior Project Engineering Manager to own complex capital projects across manufacturing facilities.

You will manage scope, cost, resources and change orders, coordinating with factory leadership to ensure timelines and design standards are met. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field with 10+ years of project management experience in a manufacturing, industrial, military or related environment.
• Associates degree with 12+ years of project management experience in a manufacturing, industrial, military or related environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of pre-project approval documents including project charter, project management plan, project kick start, estimate and milestone schedule creation.
• Apply full understanding of design scope and project deliverables to coordinate bid package development, evaluation and selection of construction firms, and release for field execution.
• Direct and execute installation, construction and commissioning of assigned projects.
• Monitor work output of project engineers and facilitate effective communication between engineering disciplines, standards, operations, technical stakeholders and safety leaders.
• Ensure design progress and deliverables are met and in alignment with established project key components, specifications and requirements.
• Manage adherence to project milestones and scope and secure approvals for all changes in projects based on engineering ways of working methodology and risk mitigation.
• Control the project budget including cost forecasts, cash flow projections, resource allocation and regular reporting.
• Provide construction management and plant startup assistance as needed to ensure successful project execution and hand-off.
