Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3 years of relevant bookkeeping experience.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Create and change pivot tables in Excel.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
• Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using VIP and QuickBooks systems.
• Accounts Payable: Manage payments and create/upload Positive Pay files to the bank.
• Account Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank, credit card, and fixed asset reconciliations.
• HR: Maintain personnel files and data; initiate and implement insurance enrollment for eligible employees.
• Payroll: Oversee timesheet management; process bi-weekly and monthly payrolls; update payroll system with personnel changes.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations, licenses, and tax filings.
