Job summary

Prime Healthcare's Olympia Fields Hospital is seeking an Electroneurodiagnostic (END) Technologist to conduct and analyze EEGs, and to perform Evoked Potentials, Nerve Conductions, LTM/ICU monitoring, or IOM for patients of all ages. You will document results and report findings to the ordering providers.

The role includes clerical duties and participation in CQI activities, with a per diem, variable shift schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certified from the AHA or ARC on hire and maintained.
• R. EEG T from ABRET on hire and maintained.
• R. EPT. from ARBET preferred.
• R. NCST. from ARBET preferred.
• Associate degree in Electro neurodiagnostic technology from a school accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts and analyzes EEG; performs EP, NCS, LTM/ICU, or IOM on in- and outpatients of all ages.
• Documents results and reports findings to designated ordering providers.
• Performs clerical duties.
• Participates in CQI and other quality improvement activities.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross

R. EEG T (ABRET Neurodiagnostic Credentialing & Accreditation)

R. EPT. (ARBET)

R. NCST. (ARBET)
