Job summary

Redwire is seeking a System Check Out Technician to join our production team in San Luis Obispo, CA. You will perform final checks and verifications to ensure equipment meets document specifications and quality standards, while supporting engineering on technical issues. As a team member, you will read schematics, use Windows-based tools, and communicate effectively across U.S.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow schematics, drawings, procedures, etc.
• Computer (Windows PC) competency in word processing and spreadsheets
• High attention to detail
• Technically minded to effectively solve problems with equipment
• Highly knowledgeable on performing mechanical and functional tests
• Strong communication skills to work with internal team members
• Able to communicate with Management across the United States on processes
• Good organization and time management skills
• Ability to take initiative and think proactively

Responsibilities

• End of line quality checks on equipment
• Perform functional and mechanical check outs as necessary
• Verification of production paperwork to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Support Flight Test Operations as needed
• Initiate customer inspection and invoicing of completed equipment
• Communicate, discuss, and listen to challenges with management, teammates, etc.
• Support problem solving activities for technical issues
