Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking an End of Line Inspector for the 1st shift at our Dallas, TX facility. You will inspect 100% of units on the line, observe safety practices, and support production with QC tests and audits.

You will investigate customer rejects, create defect reports, and communicate quality status across shifts, with willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to understand technical concepts.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Good computer and technology skills.

• Basic understanding of 5 Why process to trouble shoot, determine root cause, and implement corrective actions desired.

Responsibilities

• Inspect 100% of units produced on the line.
• Observe health and safety practices when performing tests.
• Perform housekeeping duties to maintain QC station cleanliness.
• Investigate customer rejects; conduct process and root cause analysis.
• Perform all QC tests and audits requested by management.
• Perform multiple production line quality audits throughout shift.
• Support production as required.
• Willing to work a variety of shifts, overtime, and weekends.
• Ensure testing equipment is in proper working condition.
• Create and distribute defect reports.
• Inspect raw material as required.
• Communicate quality status to all shifts’ QC Technicians and training of operators on customer requirements.
