Job summary

Ecology Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a qualified Class A Driver to join our Transportation team in Chula Vista, CA. The End Dump Driver will transport materials using end dump trailers, requiring a CDL and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with endorsements for end dump trailers required.
• Minimum 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience required.
• Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and safety protocols.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently.
• Reliability and ability to meet delivery deadlines.
• Familiarity with DOT logbook requirements and regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate end dump trailers to transport materials to designated locations.
• Adhere to traffic laws, regulations, and company policies for safe transport.
• Inspect and maintain end dump trailers, reporting issues promptly.
• Load and unload materials following proper procedures.
• Complete required paperwork (logbooks, delivery receipts) accurately and on time.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, team members, and clients.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safety compliance.
• Follow routes and schedules, adjusting as needed.
• Comply with environmental regulations and company guidelines for disposal.
