Job summary

Ecology Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a qualified Class A End Dump Driver in Chula Vista, CA to transport materials using end dump trailers. CDL required with endorsements; two years of verifiable experience and strong safety knowledge are essential.

You will follow routes, complete paperwork, perform pre/post-trip inspections, and maintain trailers while upholding environmental and regulatory standards. Schedule is Mon-Fri, with Saturday shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with endorsements for operating End Dump Trailers.
• Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience as a Class A Driver.
• Strong understanding of transportation regulations and safety protocols.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Demonstrated reliability and a commitment to meeting delivery deadlines.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and logbook requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate End Dump Trailers to transport materials to designated locations.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure safe transportation.
• Inspect and maintain the condition of the End Dump Trailers, reporting any issues promptly.
• Load and unload materials in a secure and efficient manner, following proper procedures.
• Complete required paperwork, such as logbooks and delivery receipts, accurately and on time.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, team members, and clients to ensure smooth transportation operations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the End Dump Trailers to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Follow established routes and schedules, adjusting as necessary to accommodate changes.
• Adhere to environmental regulations and company guidelines for the proper disposal of materials.
