Job summary

Ecology Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a qualified Class A Driver to join our Transportation team. The End Dump Driver will transport materials using end dump trailers, maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

A CDL and clean driving record are required, with a commitment to on-time deliveries and environmental responsibility. The role offers early hours, Monday through Saturday with varying shifts, competitive pay, and benefits including medical and 401k.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with endorsements for End Dump Trailers.
• Minimum of 2 years verifiable Class A Driver experience.
• Strong understanding of transportation regulations and safety protocols.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Demonstrated reliability and meeting delivery deadlines.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and logbook requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate End Dump Trailers to transport materials to designated locations.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure safe transportation.
• Inspect and maintain the condition of the End Dump Trailers, reporting any issues promptly.
• Load and unload materials in a secure and efficient manner, following proper procedures.
• Complete required paperwork, such as logbooks and delivery receipts, accurately and on time.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, team members, and clients to ensure smooth transportation operations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the End Dump Trailers to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Follow established routes and schedules, adjusting as necessary to accommodate changes.
• Adhere to environmental regulations and company guidelines for the proper disposal of materials.
