Job summary

Catalent’s Winchester, KY site is a leading U.S. manufacturing location for large‑scale oral solid dose forms. A Maintenance Mechanic, Encapsulation role focuses on maintaining encapsulation equipment, supporting installation, qualification, and operation of new devices, and documenting work to support GMP-compliant operations.

The position requires 3+ years in pharma/food/chemical maintenance, strong troubleshooting, and the ability to work 6 PM – 6 AM with 2-2-3 shift, onsite in Winchester, KY.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in pharmaceutical/food/chemical manufacturing maintenance role.
• Experience with electronic work orders, preventive maintenance, and spare parts programs.

Responsibilities

• Support installation and operation of new encapsulation equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on process and utility equipment.
• Document work using electronic work orders and calibration databases.
• Collaborate with Maintenance Leader and Operations Leader on status and priorities.
