Job summary

Capstone Nutrition is seeking a capable warehouse associate to support weighing operations in our Ogden, UT facility. The role involves following detailed work instructions, recording materials and process data, and ensuring accurate documentation.

Qualified candidates will adhere to SOPs and cGMP, understand measurement units, wear PPE as required, and be able to work overtime as needed. This position is on-site with humd production environments and safety protocols in place.

Responsibilities

• Lead weighing operations and ensure accurate recording of materials processed.
• Accurately document materials received, process parameters, product produced, scrap and excess.
• Verify documentation is completed accurately, timely, and properly filed.
• Follow policies, rules, regulations, and procedures and look for process improvements.

Job description

• Ability to follow all forms of instructions and directions, particularly work orders, safety, and company policies.
• Accurate and timely recording of materials received, process parameters, product produced, scrap, and excess on specified documents.
• Proper use, care, and documentation exists of equipment and materials issued to work area.
• Follow established policies, rules, regulations, and procedures
• Accountable for the quality of the product made.
• Verifies that proper documentation is completed accurately, timely, and properly filed.
• Continuously looking for opportunities to improve the current processes.
• All other duties as assigned and needed to lead weighing operations.

Requirements

• Able to comprehend and act on detail written work instruction.
• Must follow all SOP’s and cGMP requirements.
• Ability to follow all forms of instructions and directions, particularly work orders, safety, and company policies.
• Must be able to understand gram and kilo scales.
• Must wear personnel protective equipment as needed.
• Must be able to work in a humid room.
• Must be willing to work overtime as necessary.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all Solids of measure.
• Able to lift 30 pounds repeatedly, 50 pounds frequently and 75 + pounds with assistance, on a daily basis.
• Ability to lift, twist, crawl, reach, grab, bend, stoop, climb, or perform similar activities as needed and stand for long periods.
• Must be able to understand, speak, read and write in English in order to perform the essential functions of the job as they relate to comprehension of laws, regulations, standards, documents and other internal and external communications.

Work Conditions

• Subject to normal warehouse and production environment.
• Subject to high noise levels where hearing protection is required.
• Subject to atmospheric conditions, such as fumes from the machines, odors, powders, dust and other particles.
