Job summary

Essex Solutions is seeking an experienced Magnet Wire enameled product operator in Franklin, TN. The role focuses on operating enamel ovens, supporting equipment, and maintaining production records to ensure consistent wire quality.

You will perform setups, monitor quench water, and drive process improvements while adhering to safety and quality standards. The candidate should have at least two years of manufacturing experience, including metals casting, and be capable of lifting 45 pounds and

Qualifications

• Two (2) years manufacturing experience, with experience in metals casting.
• Ability to operate a series of controls to regulate the enameling process.
• Ability to lift and handle 45 pounds, and pull wire with 45 lbs. of copper bar to start-up.

Responsibilities

• Operates the enamel oven, supports equipment, prepares necessary paperwork for shipment and maintains required supplies.
• Provides proper oven set up by using the changeover/setup list.
• Checks the Quench water level and keeps it clean.
• Operates the wire draw machines for all functions necessary to ensure proper alignment of wire throughout the process.
• Completes basket welds, enters data into computer and documents basket weld breaks.
• Responsible for performing all team operations including start up, verifying lube, troubleshooting for bead and undersize wire, bare wire diameter and sponge change, completion of all forms and paperwork, and housekeeping duties.
• Identifies problems in production process and complete corrective action.
• Routinely operates powered industrial equipment including forklifts and cranes
