Job summary

Essex Solutions in Indiana is seeking an enamel line operator to run assigned enamel lines and ovens on a demanding 12-hour schedule. You will monitor processes, follow setup sheets, and help maintain a continuous flow of high-quality bare wire to the enameling lines.

You will work safely, read and apply manufacturing instructions, and assist with start-ups, changeovers, and packaging. Training and teamwork are essential to meet plant goals on a staggered 8pm–8am schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience operating enamel lines and ovens.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and training.
• Ensure product quality through process checks.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate assigned enamel lines/ovens.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and follow safety rules.
• Read and follow manufacturing instructions, work instructions, and setup sheets.
• Monitor machine processes and adjust as needed to maintain quality.
• Assist with start-ups, changeovers, and basic welds as required.
• Ensure supply of bare wire to enameling lines and proper packaging.
