Job summary

Kettering Health Network is seeking an entry-level Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join Transportation Services in Kettering on the third shift. This role focuses on immediate patient care and safe transport during medical emergencies.

Applicants must have a state-approved EMT training program in Ohio, current EMT certification, a valid driver’s license, and active BLS/CPR certifications. No prior experience is required for applicants who have completed EMT training and certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a state-approved EMT training program as required by the Ohio Department of Public Safety.
• No prior experience required; entry-level role for candidates who have completed EMT training and certification.
• Current EMT certification from the Ohio Department of Public Safety, Division of Emergency Medical Services; valid driver’s license; current BLS and CPR certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate, compassionate care and safe transport for patients during medical emergencies.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare teams and ensure patient safety.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and Kettering Health's policies.
