Job summary

Kettering Health is seeking an Emergency Services Driver to safely transport patients, personnel, and equipment. You will operate emergency vehicles following safety and regulatory standards, supporting patient care and hospital operations in alignment with our mission.

Applicants should meet the Ohio driving requirements, be at least 18, and have completed an approved emergency vehicle operations course or hold a relevant EMS or law enforcement certification in Ohio.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Completion of an emergency vehicle operations course approved by NHTSA or Ohio board-approved equivalent, or a valid certificate to practice as EMT, paramedic, firefighter, or sworn law enforcement officer in Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Safely and timely transport patients, medical personnel and equipment.
• Operate emergency vehicles in accordance with safety, regulatory, and organizational standards.
• Support patient care and operational reliability by vehicle operation.
• Perform other duties as assigned in alignment with Kettering Health’s mission, values and B Safe program.
