Job summary

Modesto City Schools is seeking a certified EMT or Paramedic for field-based medical support. Applicants must have two years of active experience, a valid California EMT Certification or Paramedic License, and an AHA BLS CPR Provider Card.

A high school diploma or GED and a valid CA driver’s license are required. Candidates must be physically able to lift and move lab equipment and manikins weighing up to 40–50 pounds, with online application through Edjoin.

Job description

Minimum of two (2) years of active field experience as a certified EMT or licensed Paramedic; High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) Certificate or California High School Proficiency Examination (CHSPE) Certificate; Current and valid California Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Certification or Paramedic License; Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR Provider Card; Valid California Driver’s License; Sufficient physical ability, strength, mobility, and stamina to bend, kneel, stoop, stand for extended periods, and lift or move lab equipment and manikins weighing up to 40-50 pounds.
