Job summary

An educational institution in San Diego seeks an Emergency Medical Technician Instructor to deliver quality educational instruction. The ideal candidate will help develop essential skills needed for students to succeed in their careers. While teaching experience is not a prerequisite, candidates must be EMT-II or EMT-I certified in California or be licensed medical professionals. They should also have at least three years of relevant experience in emergency medicine. This role offers a supportive environment for both students and instructors.

Qualifications

• Must be EMT-II or EMT-I certified in California, or a physician, registered nurse, physician assistant, or paramedic licensed in California.
• At least three years of experience in emergency medicine or prehospital care in the last 5 years.
• Have at least three (3) years of academic or clinical experience in the practice of emergency medicine or prehospital care in the last 5 years.
