Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an EMT Security Officer to join our pre-hospital emergency care medical team. You will safeguard clients across industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government, and more.

Position requires EMT certification, 1+ year armed security or related experience, a valid driver’s license, and CPR. You will administer first aid, ensure site safety, and report incidents per protocol.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Possess and maintain a State Certified EMT Basic, Intermediate, or Paramedic license.
• Current Health Care Provider or Professional Rescuer CPR card.
• Background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Administer first aid and emergency care to sick or injured persons and assist with transport to medical facilities.
• Provide customer service by enforcing safety procedures and site policies; participate in emergency response activities.
• Respond to emergency calls from a dispatcher and follow established emergency response procedures.
• Provide EMT-level medical care and determine illness or injury severity.
• Document all incidents with detailed reports and daily activity logs.
• Conduct routine patrols and protect client properties across varied environments.
