Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an EMT Security Officer to join our emergency care medical team, serving clients across industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, and Government. Responsibilities include first aid, emergency response, incident reporting, and patrols on client sites.

The ideal candidate holds an EMT license (Basic/Intermediate/Paramedic), CPR certification, and a high school diploma or equivalent, with strong customer service and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable experience
• State Certified EMT Basic, Intermediate, or Paramedic license
• Current Health Care Provider or Professional Rescuer CPR card
• Background check required by law; prior criminal history considered per laws
• Drug screen required where permitted by law
• Driver's license required for driving positions
• Intermediate computer skills to operate wireless client-site tech
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required

Responsibilities

• Administer first aid and emergency care per EMT certification
• Provide customer service while following safety procedures and site policies
• Respond to dispatcher emergency calls for medical assistance
• Report medical incidents and complete Daily Activity Log for each shift
• Complete Incident Reports documenting medical responses on client property
• Establish priorities for emergency procedures and request additional help
• Conduct regular and random patrols; vary by client site and conditions
