Job summary

Westminster Retirement Community in Austin, Texas is seeking a customer-service oriented security professional to provide five-star security and concierge services for independent living residents. This PRN (on-call/as needed) role may lead to part-time or full-time when positions become available.

You will respond to alarms, assist residents in emergencies, monitor the facility, and support visitors. EMT/EMR certification is required; prior security/concierge experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Security or Concierge role is preferred.
• EMT or EMR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and well-being of residents and employees.
• Evaluate the physical, emotional and social needs of residents.
• Respond to alarm systems and facilitate communication between personnel.
• Respond to emergency calls as a First Responder as needed.
• Maintain reports and records and protect resident information.
• Assist with building access, lobby duties and vehicle entry/exit.
• Perform security monitoring and incident reporting for safety and parking violations.
• Perform incidental housekeeping and minor maintenance tasks as needed.
