Job summary

Eagle’s Trace by Erickson Senior Living seeks a Security and Emergency Services Officer II (EMR/EMT) to help run security and emergency services at a gated retirement community in West Houston, TX. The role involves implementing security programs and engaging with residents through outreach.

Responsibilities include patrols, enforcing traffic rules, responding to dispatch calls, handling medical emergencies, and detailed incident reporting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Prior experience in Security and/or Emergency Medical Services is preferred.
• Current CPR for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Current Emergency Medical Responder certification; higher level acceptable; must obtain EMR within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular patrols of the property, provide relief staffing for the gatehouse, and respond to emergency and routine calls for service.
• Enforce all traffic and parking regulations.
• Respond to calls for service from dispatch and security.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide efficient care utilizing basic interventions.
• Follow up on reports of missing items, theft, vandalism, and other potential criminal activity.
• Coordinate with local police, fire, and EMS during emergencies.
• Complete thorough and detailed incident reports using the online system.
