Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Active NY EMT-B or EMT-CC certification.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
• NIMS IC-100 and IS-700 coursework required.
• Able to lift up to 150 pounds without assistance and up to 300 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Responds to calls when dispatched.
• Transports patient to medical facility with ongoing medical care.
• Performs CPR and uses AED as required.
• Maintains ambulance and equipment readiness.
• Documents observations and reports to the receiving facility.
