Job summary

Lynx EMS is seeking EMTs to respond to emergencies and non-emergency calls, assess patients, and deliver basic medical care under established protocols. You will monitor vital signs, document care, and transport patients to care facilities with a focus on patient safety and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Provide basic emergency medical care within the EMT scope of practice.
• Demonstrate strong patient assessment and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency and non-emergency medical calls.
• Assess patients and provide appropriate basic emergency medical care.
• Perform CPR, first aid, bleeding control, and other interventions within the EMT’s scope of practice.
• Monitor and document patients’ vital signs and condition throughout care and transportation.
• Safely transport patients to hospitals or other designated healthcare facilities.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, dispatchers, healthcare providers, and other emergency personnel.
• Complete accurate and timely patient care reports and required documentation.
• Inspect, clean, maintain, and restock the ambulance and medical equipment.
• Follow established medical protocols, safety procedures, and organizational policies.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and provide compassionate and respectful care.
• Participate in required training, continuing education, and competency assessments.
