Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain ambulance and equipment for readiness.
• Restock supplies and report deficiencies promptly.

The EMT will be responsible for providing safe, professional, and compassionate patient care while responding to medical needs and transporting patients as required. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills, sound judgment, excellent communication, and a commitment to patient safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate emergency and non-emergency medical care within the scope of EMT practice.
• Assess patients and identify medical needs in a timely and professional manner.
• Monitor and document patient condition and vital signs.
• Provide basic life support and appropriate emergency interventions.
• Safely transport patients to hospitals, medical facilities, and other approved destinations.
• Assist with patient movement, lifting, transferring, and positioning as needed.
• Communicate effectively with patients, family members, healthcare professionals, dispatch, and other team members.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient care and transport documentation.
• Operate emergency medical equipment safely and appropriately.
• Inspect and maintain the ambulance and medical equipment to ensure readiness.
• Restock medical supplies and report equipment deficiencies promptly.
• Follow all applicable company policies, medical protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
• Respond promptly and appropriately to assigned calls and patient-care needs.
• Work effectively as part of a team while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management or medical leadership.
