Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) in Missouri. EMTs respond to emergency and non-emergency requests, deliver high-quality care, and provide excellent customer service to patients.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, documenting care, maintaining a safe environment, and operating ambulances per policy. Missouri EMT certification, BLS, CPR, and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

HS Diploma or equivalent required.
Missouri EMT certification is required.
American Heart Association BLS certification required.
CPR certification required.
NREMT certification preferred.
State Driver’s License required.
Driving record compliant with company policy.
Pass Physical Ability Test (PAT) required.

Responsibilities

EMTs provide patient assessment, determine needed care and deliver emergency services using appropriate techniques and equipment.
Document patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
Use EMT skills to provide care including communications, equipment handling, and office procedures.
Operate an ambulance in accordance with company safety policies and traffic laws.
Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow EMTs.
