Job summary

CAREonsite, a division of Tang & Company, is hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) and Paramedics to join the team. You will provide on-site first aid and emergency medical care, assess injuries, and coordinate with hospitals and treatment facilities as needed.

This role requires active EMT or Paramedic licensure, current BLS, and at least 2 years of emergency experience, including 911 service. Independent decision-making, strong communication, and teamwork are essential to succeed on

Qualifications

• Active EMT or Paramedic licensure in the applicable state.
• Current BLS certification.
• At least 2 years of experience in an emergency setting (ER or 911 service).
• 911 experience is required.
• Ability to work independently and make critical decisions under pressure.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond quickly and effectively to on-site medical emergencies.
• Provide first aid and medical care in compliance with policies.
• Assess injuries and illnesses to determine the course of action.
• Communicate with medical professionals and facilities for further instructions.
• Engage with clients and site personnel regarding incidents and hazards.
• Stay aware of the changing worksite environment to mitigate risks.
• Maintain high clinical standards and ensure quality care.
• Document patient assessments and treatments accurately.
• Assist Site Safety Managers in promoting a safe work environment.

As a CAREonsite EMT/Paramedic, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and safety of workers by providing basic first aid through life-saving medical care. This position offers a dynamic mix of clinical and field work, where you may be part of a team or working independently.

Schedule & Pay

• Pay Range: $25-$28 hourly

What You’ll Do

• Respond quickly and effectively to on-site medical emergencies.
• Provide first aid and medical care in compliance with federal, state, local, and company policies.
• Assess injuries and illnesses to determine the necessary course of action.
• Communicate effectively with medical professionals and treatment facilities for further instructions.
• Engage with clients and site personnel regarding workplace incidents and potential hazards.
• Stay aware of the constantly changing worksite environment to identify and mitigate risks.
• Maintain high clinical standards and ensure all care provided meets quality guidelines.
• Accurately document all patient assessments and treatments.
• Assist Site Safety Managers in promoting a safe and secure work environment.

What We’re Looking For

• Active EMT or Paramedic license in the applicable state.
• Current BLS certification.
• At least 2 years of experience in an emergency setting (e.g., ER department or 911 ambulance service).
• 911 experience is required.
• Ability to work independently and make critical decisions under pressure.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
