Job summary

Community Care Ambulance is seeking an EMT to provide high-quality basic life support (BLS) and patient care in pre-hospital settings within Northeast Ohio. You will respond to dispatched calls, assess patient conditions, administer care within your scope, and ensure safe, efficient transport.

The role offers opportunities for in-house training, mentorship, and advancement into Paramedic and specialty roles, with a Paramedic Education Sponsorship Program and a strong focus on patient-centered

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a state-approved EMT training program meeting or exceeding current National Standard Curriculum requirements.
• Current Ohio EMT certification (or National Registry EMT).
• Valid Driver’s License and CPR certification.
• First Aid certification or ability to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality BLS patient care and safe transportation in pre-hospital settings.
• Respond to dispatched calls and assess patient condition; administer care within scope.
• Maintain equipment, complete PCRs, and ensure infection control procedures.
• Attend trainings and participate in ongoing education and skill development.
