Medcor Inc. in Rialto CA is hiring a full-time Onsite Health Technician (EMT or Paramedic) to join our employer-based occupational health clinic.

You will provide first aid, injury assessment, and treatment, support wellness, and deliver occupational health services in a steady, patient-focused environment. You will work Sunday and Monday 4:00 pm-12:00 am, and Tue-Thu 10:00 am-6:00 pm, with a schedule that supports predictable routines.

Formación

• Current EMT or Paramedic certification/licensure.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable using EMR and other technology.

Responsabilidades

• Provide first aid, triage, assessment and treatment for workplace injuries/illnesses.
• Coordinate with outside medical providers and return-to-work programs.
• Support employee health, safety, wellness, and on-site clinic operations.

Location Rialto CA Position Type Full Time Pay 28003100hour based on licensure and experience Schedule Sunday & Monday 400pm1200am TuesdayThursday 1000am600pm Leave the ambulance behind without leaving patient care behind Medcor is looking to hire a full time EMT or Paramedic to join our team as an Onsite Health Technician at our employer based occupational health clinic in Rialto CA This is a great opportunity for an EMT or Paramedic who enjoys patient care but is looking for a change from traditional EMS Youll work in an onsite clinic environment providing first aid injury assessment and treatment employee wellness support and occupational health services all while enjoying a consistent schedule and the stability of a full time position.

A Typical Day as an Onsite Health Technician

Clinical Care & Injury Management

Provide first aid triage assessment and treatment for workplace injuries and illnesses Respond to workplace medical situations and provide appropriate assessment stabilization treatment and coordination of emergency medical services when needed Evaluate injured employees and guide care using Medcors evidence based treatment protocols Support workers compensation case management and Return to Work RTW programs Monitor treatment plans and coordinate with outside medical providers when additional care is needed Complete accurate medical documentation and charting using our electronic medical record system

Occupational Health & Wellness Support

employee health safety and wellness initiatives Assist with pre employment and post offer screenings Educate employees on injury prevention wellness and appropriate follow up care Partner with onsite Safety and operational teams to help maintain a healthy and safe workplace

Clinic Operations

Help manage the day to day operations of the onsite clinic Maintain appropriate medical supplies and equipment Build strong relationships with employees client leadership local medical providers and the Medcor team Deliver an excellent patient and client experience

What Youll Need

• Current EMT or Paramedic certificationlicensure appropriate for the position
• Current CPRBLS certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable using computers electronic medical records and other technology
• Ability to lift and carry a 50 lb emergency response bag
• A patient first mindset and ability to work independently in an onsite clinic environment

Even Better If You Have

• Occupational health or onsite clinic experience
• Emergency medical services experience
• Experience with workplace injuries workers compensation or Return to Work programs
