Job summary

Metro Paramedic Services, Inc. is seeking a full-time EMT for the North Boone Fire District #3 contract. The EMT-B will provide medical care and transportation within the IDPH scope of practice and under EMS Commission of Illinois guidance.

Qualifications include an EMT license, CPR certification, 21+ years of age, and a valid Illinois driver's license. ACLS/PALS training is provided. A pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check are required.

Qualifications

• EMT license or certification is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Illinois Driver's license.
• ACLS and PALS training will be provided by Metro.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care and transportation for patients at EMT-B level.
• Work within IDPH/EMS Commission of Illinois scope of practice.
• Partner with local municipalities under contract for EMS, rescue or fire services.

Metro Paramedic Services, Inc.is a subsidiary of Superior Air-Ground Ambulance Services, Inc. We contract with local municipalities to provide Emergency Medical Services, Rescue and/or Fire Services.Much of our proven success is attributable to the exceptional, compassionate customer service provided by our employees.

We are currently seeking a full-time EMT for our North Boone Fire District #3 contract.

The basic function of the EMT is to provide medical care and transportation for a patient at the EMT (EMT-B) level, within their scope of practice, as stipulated by Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and/or EMS Commission of Illinois.

Qualifications

EMT Qualifications:

• EMT License
• 1 year experience - Preferred
• CPR Certified
• 21 Years of age
• Valid Illinois Driver's License
• ACLS (Metro will train)
• PALS (Metro will train)
• Successfully completion of pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check
