Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking an EMT for the MH Southern BLS Emergency team in New Jersey. The role focuses on delivering Basic Life Support services while advancing toward ALS with our Training Center. Competitive hourly pay with full benefits for part-time employees.

Typical duties include professional patient interaction, paperwork completion, and adherence to state health and hospital policies. EMT certification and BLS CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Holds NJ EMT certification and BLS CPR for healthcare providers.
• Willingness to advance from BLS to ALS via training center.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, both written and verbal.
• Capable of maintaining patient care documentation per protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide Basic Life Support (BLS) services to patients.
• Adhere to patient care protocols and NJ driving policies.
• Complete department continuing programs and MH documentation procedures.
• Communicate with supervisors regarding equipment, supplies, and unusual circumstances.
• Interact professionally with partners, patients, and health-care staff.
