Job summary

ZooTampa at Lowry Park is seeking a Part-time Medical Representative to provide emergency medical response to guests and staff, while delivering friendly, informative service that upholds safety guidelines and Zoo policies.

You will respond to injuries, assist with investigations, maintain logs, and work varied shifts including events; EMT certification and first aid/CPR/AED are required, with a strong commitment to guest safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
• EMT certification or higher required.
• Guest services or guest relations experience required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain First Aid/CPR/AED certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical response to guests or employees with injuries/illnesses in ZooTampa guidelines.
• Assist in investigations of accidents/incidents with detailed information as required.
• Maintain guest control and handle challenging situations.
• Respond to alarms and lost child situations when needed.
• Log injuries/illnesses and write daily reports.
