HEALTHFLEET AMBULANCE, INC. seeks an Emergency Medical Technician to transport ill or injured patients and to comply with all applicable state, local, and company policies, including recertification and continuing education.

The EMT must maintain current EMT/EMSVO certification and adhere to strict safety and documentation standards during every shift. The role requires safe driving, professional interaction with patients and agencies, and strict adherence to company policies.

Qualificações

• Must possess and maintain current state EMT/EMSVO certification.
• Must possess and maintain EVOC and CPR certifications.
• Must have a current, valid driver’s license.
• Must successfully complete the Company’s probationary program.
• Must attend continuing education and other educational courses as directed by leadership.

Responsabilidades

• Project a professional image when dealing with patients and other agencies.
• Drive in a safe and responsible manner following company policies.
• Adhere to dress code and personal appearance policies.
• Be familiar with safe lifting and moving techniques and stay physically/mentally fit.
• Be familiar with all Company policies and any changes.
• Know the Company management structure and forms and their purposes.
• Demonstrate proper patient care documentation techniques and use required hardware/software.
• Perform daily vehicle maintenance checks and report issues.
• Keep vehicle cab clean and exterior clean with partner.
• Navigate Company response areas and know major hospital locations.
• Know how to use GPS products for navigation.
• Be willing to perform additional duties as assigned.
• Report incidents and problems to supervisor promptly.
• Report to work on-time and prepared, and willing to work overtime.
