HealthFleet Ambulance, Inc. is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician in the Philadelphia area to transport the sick and injured. The EMT must comply with state, local and company policies, including recertification and continuing education.

Responsibilities include professional patient interactions, safe driving per policies, accurate documentation, and vehicle maintenance. Typical benefits and overtime may apply. Immediate start and shift flexibility are valued.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED equivalent.
• Current state EMT/EMSVO certification.
• EVOC and CPR certification from a recognized body.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional image and attitude when interacting with patients and staff.
• Follow company driving policies and drive safely at all times.
• Maintain dress code and personal appearance according to company standards.
• Be physically fit to perform duties and handle lifting safely.
• Familiarize with company policies, forms and procedures.
• Document patient care accurately using required systems.
• Perform daily vehicle maintenance checks and report issues.
• Keep vehicle cab clean and coordinate with partner for exterior cleaning.
• Navigate using company communications systems and GPS tools.
• Be willing to perform special duties as assigned and work overtime when needed.
