Chaffey College is seeking a Short-Term Worker for the Emergency Medical Technician Lab at 5885 Haven Avenue, Rancho Cucamonga, CA. The role supports EMT labs, handles equipment, and assists with skill demonstrations under the course instructor.

Qualified candidates must hold an active EMT/Paramedic/Nurse license, be CPR-certified, possess a California driver's license, and have EMT field experience. Availability for campus sessions and in-person work is required.

Qualifications

• Active EMT/Paramedic/Nurse License is Required.
• Current California Driver's License is Required.
• Current American Heart Association CPR Provider is Required.
• One year of field experience as EMT/Paramedic or higher is Preferred/Required.
• Forty hours (40) teaching experience as EMT FTO, Paramedic Preceptor, or classroom experience.
• Able to travel to Chaffey campuses: Rancho Cucamonga, Fontana, and Chino.

Responsibilities

• Equipment checkout and return
• Setting up skill stations
• Equipment familiarization and cleaning
• Demonstrating National Registry Skills
• Operating technologies used in the program
• Preparing students for skills testing
• Participating in skills testing under instructor guidance
• Equipment inventory
• Other related class session duties
• Submitting hours worked before month end
