Job summary

The ideal candidate will hold EMT Basic/Intermediate, be eligible for licensure in Ohio, maintain CPR certification, a valid driver's license, and commit to continuing education and professional development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Completion of EMT Basic/Intermediate program and licensure in Ohio.
• One year related experience preferred.
• Maintain current valid Driver’s License.
• Maintain CPR (Health Care Provider minimum) certification.
• Maintain Ohio Advanced EMT Certification on file.
• Maintain other skill-based certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Compliance with all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean appearance and professional conduct.
• Render competent patient care in pre-hospital and inter-facility settings.
• Follow all protocols for emergency treatment and transportation.
• Safely operate and maintain an emergency vehicle and equipment.
• Communicate patient information to health care team and management.
• Document information on the Company PCR and related forms.
• Demonstrate and maintain continuing education and licensure requirements.
• Physical ability to perform duties; lift and move patients safely.
• Keep vehicles, equipment, and facilities clean and orderly.
