Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current EMT certification.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• CPR certification or equivalent.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 125 lbs and operate EMS equipment.

Responsibilities

• Administer basic life support within EMT scope.
• Safely operate and maintain ambulances and equipment.
• Provide direct patient care during transport.
• Document information accurately in charting system.
• Assist fellow EMS providers and prepare comprehensive reports.
• Maintain station cleanliness and restock supplies.
• Maintain professional communication with Dispatch Center.
• Adhere to agency policies and protocols.
