Job summary

Global Medical Response in Los Lunas, NM is hiring an Emergency Medical Technician - Intermediate to respond to emergency and non-emergency medical calls and deliver high-quality care and customer service.

The role requires at least 18 years old, a high school diploma or GED, state driver’s license, EMT Intermediate certification, and CPR/BLS. You will perform patient assessments, document care, and operate ambulances in accordance with safety policies.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• HS diploma or GED equivalency.
• State Driver’s License required.
• State EMT Intermediate certification required.
• CPR/BLS certifications required.
• Driving record in compliance with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment of patients and determine necessary care, delivering emergency services.
• Document patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Use EMT skills including communications and equipment handling to deliver care.
• Operate an ambulance in line with safety policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
