Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher and two years of professional experience.
• Associate degree and six years of professional experience.
• A current EMT or Paramedic Certification.
• Completion of the NAEMSE Level 1 Instructor course.
• Professional experience is required when the applicant possesses a master's degree.

Responsibilities

• Meet classes and laboratories on days and times assigned per the published class schedule.
• Publish in syllabus and maintain office hours; advise students enrolled in the instructor's classes in such matters as course content, grading criteria, and major degree requirements.
• Develop and implement instruction to fulfill COR standards and program objectives.
• Periodically assess and advise students on their progress toward course objectives.
• Maintain records, submit grades by deadlines, and refer students to tutoring and services as needed.
• Ensure compliance with district policies, safety regulations, and equity requirements.
