Copper Mountain College is seeking a part-time instructor for Emergency Medical Technologies. The role requires meeting scheduled classes, developing curricula aligned to the COR, and maintaining office hours for student advisement.
Candidates must hold at least a bachelor's degree with relevant experience and possess EMT or Paramedic certification, plus NAEMSE Level 1 Instructor certification. Professional experience is required if the applicant holds a master's degree.
Under administrative leadership, it is the responsibility of the part-time instructor to conduct assigned classes and support advancement of the values represented by the Vision Statement and Mission Statement of the District.
Standards are established in accordance with theMinimum Qualifications for Faculty and Administrators in California Community Collegesas adopted by the California Community Colleges Board of Governors for the discipline.
Any bachelor's degree or higher and two years of professional experience.
OR
Any associate degree and six years of professional experience.
AND
A current EMT or Paramedic Certification.
AND
Completion of the National Association of EMS Educators (NAEMSE) Level 1 Instructor course.
Professional experience is required when the applicant possesses a master's degree. The professional experience required must be directly related to the faculty member's teaching assignment.
PhD/EdD: $78.86/hour - Lecture. $63.53/hour - Lab.
MA/MS: $75.75/hour - Lecture. $61.02/hour - Lab.
BA/BS: $72.79/hour - Lecture. $58.63/hour - Lab.
