Job summary

AtlantiCare seeks an EMT Instructor to develop and deliver the Initial EMT Basic course, CORE, and elective continuing education. The role ensures coursework adheres to NJ OEMS regulations and maintains current educational material for students.

The instructor may precept staff, contribute to QA initiatives, and address BLS topics while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to support EMS department operations.

Qualifications

• Requires strong interpersonal and communication abilities for teaching and coordinating with stakeholders.
• Ability to organize curriculum, schedules, and compliance with NJ OEMS regulations.
• Familiarity with emergency policies and clinical applications is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develops, updates, and delivers EMT basic course, CORE and elective continuing education.
• Ensures materials are up-to-date, engaging, and aligned with regulations.
• May serve as Preceptor to new staff and support QA and BLS topics.
