Job summary

AtlantiCare seeks an Emergency Medical Technician Instructor to assess, develop, and deliver the Initial EMT basic course, CORE and elective continuing education for EMTs. The role ensures up-to-date content, engages learners, and aligns with EMS department guidelines and NJ OEMS regulations.

Responsibilities include coordinating with internal/external stakeholders, preparing materials, and potentially serving as a Preceptor while contributing to QA and BLS topics within AtlantiCare’s EMS

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BA/BS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, develop, update and deliver the Initial EMT basic course, CORE and elective continuing education for EMTs.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and ensure timely preparation and delivery of EMT courses following NJ OEMS regulations.
• Develop and utilize assessment tools to ensure proper instruction and may serve as a Preceptor to new staff; support QA and address BLS topics.
